ICCBP is the world’s leading conference for concrete block paving, bringing together experts from industry, research, and practice. Since 1980, it has been organized under the patronage of SEPT at rotating international locations.
The host venue is selected based on clear criteria: a strong local association, academic expertise, and an experienced organizing team. For 2029, Cape Town meets all these requirements, with the CMA and the UCT as key local partners as well as CPI worldwide as organizer.
The 14th ICCBP will not only deliver high-level technical content but also benefit from an outstanding and globally attractive location.

Organization
CPI worldwide journals are trade journals for the concrete and precast concrete industry that are published since 25+ years in 10 different language and regional editions in more than 170 countries. These trade journals, with their practical editorial reporting on research, production and applications, are specifically addressing the decision makers of the concrete and precast concrete industry. All issues show a comprehensive categorization of topics addressed in separate sections. The editorials include product information and case stories as well as technical and scientific articles about concrete technology, concrete products/cast stone, concrete pipes, precast concrete, reinforcement technology, readymix concrete and international events. The publishers of CPI are also organizing events for the same industry since 20+ years globally, aka ICCX International Concrete Conference & Exhibition. Thanks to their industry insights over such a long time, CPI was already involved in the organization of ICCBP events in Dresden, Seoul and Hyderabad.
